surfing spots
alright guys - got some questions about good surfing spots so thought i’d post a few of my personal favourites
Cornwall/ north devon
Praa sands - okay nothing special here in the summer but this place is a second home. saying that in the winter a few sessions down there have resulted in some of the best surf of my life. surfs good when the north coast is blown out on a big north westerly. good shore at high tide.
Porthleven (the reef) - execellent wave unfortunately everyone knows it. works best when theres a low off biscay and a NE wind. best from mid to high tide. also surfed at low tide - for decent riders only though.
Perranporth - picks up any swells goin. cliffs at either end stop swell becoming choppy.the beach holds up to about 6ft before the rips and paddleout becomes to much.
ireland - Derrnane Co Kerry - only been there in winter so it was freezing but beautiful clean waves and can stay to about 13ft before rips become too difficult ( one problem - boat/jetski is needed to get out past breakers)
around the world
Bali - aiurghalsjhfalsidhgailurhg;HEF WOW. just any where there and you will have a sick time. especially reefs off kuta and Padang Padang.
Snapper rocks - coolangatta - epic wave even though its a little crowded.
chickens - maldives - super fun left hander, lovely beach too haaa :)
australia - again another place where nearly everyone has good surf when theres swells. try gold coast for awesome surf and sound people.
Tahiti - Chopes reef - one of the most amazing reefs to surf off ever.
chile - best waves i’ve ever seen/surfed
i’ll update regulary:)
